Pakistan army sources say 77 Indian drones shot down in two days

ISLAMABAD, May 9, 2025 (AFP) - Pakistani military sources confirmed to AFP on Friday that 77 Indian drones were shot down over two days, as the nuclear-armed neighbours have been exchanging attacks.

"On May 8, Pakistan shot down 29 Indian drones, while 48 drones were destroyed overnight," Pakistani state television PTV News reported, with Pakistani military sources confirming the figure to AFP.
