Global anti-malware crackdown leads to 20 arrest warrants: Europol

THE HAGUE, May 23, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - A coordinated international operation succeeded this week in disrupting some of the world's "most dangerous malware", European Union anti-crime bodies Europol and Eurojust said Friday. 

Authorities took down more than 300 servers, neutralised 650 domains, issued international arrest warrants against 20 individuals and seized 3.5 million euros ($3.9 million) in cryptocurrency, they said.
