The project officially commenced this morning from the Bhogra Bypass area, with support from the Bangladesh Army.

The comprehensive initiatives include demarcation of the canal, eviction of illegal encroachments, and extensive excavation and cleaning operations.

GCC Waste Management Officer Md Sohel Rana, Superintending Engineer (Mechanical) Sudip Basak and Executive Engineer Md. Russell were present.

Dhaka Divisional Commissioner and Gazipur City Corporation Administrator Sarfuddin Ahmed Chowdhury emphasized the importance of the project for the local community.
