NATO chief says will work with new Polish president to make alliance 'even stronger'

  VILNIUS, June 2, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - NATO chief Mark Rutte on Monday congratulated nationalist Karol Nawrocki for winning Poland's presidential election, vowing to work together to boost the alliance in the face of the threat from Russia.

   Rutte said he was looking forward to working with the new leader on "making sure that with Poland, NATO becomes even stronger than it is today".
