41 dengue, 18 Chikungunya cases reported in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - In the last 24 hours, 18 people in 
Chattogram district have been infected with Chikungunya and 41 with Dengue, 
as confirmed by Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Jahangir Alam on Wednesday 
afternoon.
 
According to the Chattogram Civil Surgeon's office, a total of 2,087 people 
have been hospitalized with Dengue so far this year, claiming 17 lives. 
Additionally, 3,339 cases of Chikungunya have been reported this year.
 
Currently, 36 patients, including 18 with Chikungunya, are receiving 
treatment in various hospitals in the city, as stated by District Civil 
Surgeon Dr Jahangir Alam.
