BERLIN, July 23, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Germany on Wednesday said a vote by Ukrainian lawmakers to remove the independence of two anti-corruption bodies in the war-torn country "hampers Ukraine's way towards the EU".

"I expect (Ukraine) to continue with determination its efforts in combating corruption," Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said in a post on X.
