Military court finds New Zealand soldier guilty of attempted espionage

 PALMERSTON NORTH, New Zealand, Aug 18, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - A military court found a New Zealand soldier guilty of attempted espionage on Monday after he admitted trying to send information about military bases to a foreign country.

The soldier's name and the identity of the country involved were suppressed by the court-martial.
