
SOFIA, Bulgaria, April 19, 2026 (BSS/AFP) - Bulgarians began voting in the eighth election in five years on Sunday with ex-president Rumen Radev's grouping expected to win on a pledge to fight corruption.
Polling stations in the Balkan nation opened at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), according to AFP journalists. They will close at 1700 GMT.
