KINSHASA, June 29, 2026 (BSS/AFP) - At least one Ebola case has been confirmed in a fourth province in the Democratic Republic of Congo, meaning
the country's entire northeast is now affected by the deadly outbreak, the national laboratory and a health source said Monday.

The case was detected in Haut-Uele, near the borders with South Sudan and the Central African Republic, involving a person who had travelled from Bunia, in neighbouring Ituri province -- the outbreak's epicentre.
