CHUADANGA, Dec 05, 2025 (BSS)- Housing and Public Works adviser Adilur Rahman Khan today visited the graveyard of martyred Shahriar Shuvo, who embraced martyrdom during last year’s student-people uprising.
The adviser offered prayers at the graveyard at Shankar Chandra village of Chuadanga Sadar Upazila and sough salvation of the departed soul.
Shuva’s father Abu Sayeed, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chuadanga Mohammad Kamal Hossain, senior officials and family members of the martyr were present.
Adilur Rahman Khan talked to the father of Shahriar Shuvo and inquired about the well-being of his family.
He asked the DC of Chuadanga to take necessary measures to ensure quick disbursement of government assistance allocated for the martyr’s family.
Shaheed Shahriar Shuvo was shot on July 19, 2024 in Dhaka’s Mirpur area and succumbed to injuries on July 23 while undergoing treatment at the Neuroscience Hospital.
