SC declares new working hours for lower courts during Ramadan

DHAKA, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS) – The Supreme Court administration has fixed a new time schedule for trial proceedings and office hours at the lower courts and tribunals during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to a notification signed by the Supreme Court Registrar General Mohammad Habibur Rahman Siddiquee, trial proceedings at the lower courts and tribunals will start at 09:30 am and continue until 3:00 pm, with an intermission from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm.

Official activities at the trial courts and tribunals will begin at 9:00 am and continue until 3:30 pm, with a break from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm during Ramadan.
