AAG Tarikul Islam resigns to contest SCBA polls

DHAKA, May 05, 2026 (BSS) - Assistant Attorney General (AAG) Md Tarikul Islam resigned from his post today, announcing his intention to contest the upcoming elections of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).

In his resignation letter, he stated that he is stepping down from government service to contest for the post of assistant secretary in the SCBA polls.
