TK 2,148cr proposed for posts and telecommunications division in FY26

DHAKA, June 02, 2025 (BSS) - Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed has proposed an allocation of TK 2,148 crore for the posts and telecommunications division in the fiscal year 2025-2026.

Dr Ahmed today made the announcement while unveiling the national budget for FY26 in a televised speech. 

He said TK 1,243 crore is designated for operational expenses, while TK 908 crore is for development expenditure.

In comparison, the revised budget for FY25 allocated TK 2,359 crore for the division.
