DHAKA, June 02, 2025 (BSS) – Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs has been allocated TK 1,362 crore in the proposed national budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026.

Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed today made the announcement while unveiling the national budget for FY26 in a televised speech. 

He said TK 475 crore is designated for operational expenses, while TK 887 crore is earmarked for development expenditure.

In comparison, the revised budget for FY25 allocated TK 1,304 crore for the ministry.
