
DHAKA, April 21, 2026 (BSS) - A total of 18,489 Hajj pilgrims so far from Bangladesh have reached Saudi Arabia in the first four days of Hajj travel, according to the Hajj bulletin.
They arrived on 46 flights by 10am today, Director of Bangladesh Hajj Office Lokman Hossain said.
He said this year, 78,500 people from Bangladesh have been allowed to perform Hajj. Of them, 660 agencies are responsible for managing Hajj under the private arrangement, including 30 lead agencies and 630 coordinating agencies.
According to airline-wise data, 7,018 pilgrims arrived on 17 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 6,634 on 17 flights of Saudi Airlines and 4,837 on 12 flights of Flynas Airlines.
The remaining Hajj pilgrims will reach gradually with designated airlines, the director said.
According to hajj office information, a total of 4,565 pilgrims will perform Hajj under the government management and 73,935 under the private arrangement.
Subject to moon sighting, the holy Hajj will be held in Saudi Arabia on May 26.
