Ziauddin Hyder appointed PM’s special assistant on health

DHAKA, April 22, 2026 (BSS) - Ziauddin Hyder has been appointed as the Special Assistant on health affairs to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, according to a government gazette issued today.

A notification signed by Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani confirmed the appointment.

According to the notification, the Prime Minister appointed S. M. Ziauddin Hyder and assigned him responsibilities under Rule 3B(2) of the Rules of Business, 1996. 

While holding the post of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, he will enjoy the rank, salary, allowances, and other ancillary benefits equivalent to those of a state minister.
