Members of Mayer Dak meet PM

DHAKA, June 14, 2026 (BSS)- Members of the human rights organization Mayer Dak, consisting of family members of victims of enforced disappearances and killings, today met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

The meeting took place outside the Jatiya Sangsad assembly room here this evening, said Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony.

Earlier, members of Mayer Dak enjoyed the discussion on budget at the invitation of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. 

A total of 26 members of the organization watched the parliament proceedings from the Bir Sreshtho Lance Naik Munshi Abdur Rouf Gallery in the parliament.

Prime Minister and Leader of the House Tarique Rahman was present during today’s Jatiya Sangsad sitting chaired by Deputy Speaker Barrister Kayser Kamal.
