DHAKA, Jan 5, 2025 (BSS) – A total of 66 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.

"During the period, 10 dengue patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 17 in Chattogram, four in Dhaka division, 11 in Dhaka North city while 15 in Dhaka South, two in Rajshahi, two in Mymensingh, two in Rangpur and five were admitted to different hospitals in Khulna," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of cases rose to 1,01,214 while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported in last year, the statement added.
