DHAKA, Jan 13, 2025 (BSS) –Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted weather may remain dry over the country but have chances of light rain or drizzling at one or two places over Rangpur division.

“Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur division”, according to the forecast begins from 9am today.

Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay, extending its trough to North Bay.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during late night to early morning.

Night temperature may rise slightly over southern part and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country. Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 31.0 degree celsius at Feni and minimum temperature today was recorded 10.8 degree celsius at Jashore.

The Sun sets today at 05-31 PM and rises tomorrow at  06-43 AM in the capital.
