EU ambassador meets Chief Justice

DHAKA, Feb 3, 2025 (BSS) – European Union (EU) ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller has paid a courtesy call on Chief Justice (CJ) Dr Syed Refaat Ahmed. 

Public Relations Officer of the Appellate Division Md Shafiqul Islam told BSS here today.

He said the courtesy meeting was held at the office of the Chief Justice of Bangladesh Supreme Court on January 30.

During the meeting, they discussed judicial independence, skill development of judges and lawyers, receiving justice easily and digitalization of the judicial management, he added.

Islam, however, said that the EU on its official facebook page thanked the Chief Justice for discussing the issues fruitfully.
