CA releases commemorative postage stamp depicting women's participation in July uprising

DHAKA, Feb 9, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today unveiled a commemorative postage stamp of Taka 10, a inaugural envelope of Taka 10, a data card of Taka 5 and a special canceller to honour and memorialise the July Uprising-2024.

This postage stamp releasing ceremony was held at the State Guest House Jamuna here this evening.

Posts and Telecommunications Adviser Md Nahid Islam, Secretary of the Posts and Telecommunications Division Dr. Md. Mushfiqur Rahman and Director General of the Directorate of Posts (Additional Duty) SM Shahab Uddin were present.

The theme of the postage stamp depicts the spontaneous participation of women in the July Uprising and highlights the role of women in accelerating the movement.
