DHAKA, Feb 10, 2025 (BSS)- A total of 29 dengue patients were admitted to 
different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this 
morning.

"During the period, 10 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, five 
in Chattogram, seven in Dhaka division, one Rajshahi, four in Dhaka South and 
two were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka North," said a press 
release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 1,324 while 11 deaths from dengue disease 
were reported this year.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214 while 575 deaths from 
dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
