6 more July uprising injured sent to Thailand for better treatment

Dhaka, Feb 10, 2025 (BSS) - Six more seriously injured in the July movement have been sent to Thailand for better treatment at the initiative of the government.

They sustained bullet injury on legs and spine during the movement.
The six people were sent to Bangkok on a regular flight of Biman Bangladesh at 11:20 am today.

The injured who were sent to Bangkok are Dulal Hossain, Mostafa Kamal Noor, Shahidul Islam, Hedayetullah, Mohammad Raihan, who are undergoing treatment at the National Orthopaedic Hospital and Rehabilitation Institute (Nitor), and Mohammad Raihanul, who is undergoing treatment at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services, Professor Dr. Md. Abu Zafar, Joint Secretary of the Health Services Division, Md. Mostafizur Rahman were present at the airport.
