DHAKA, March 6, 2025 (BSS)- Five dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours till this morning. 

“During the period, one patient was hospitalised in Barishal division, one in Dhaka North, one in Rajshahi and two were admitted to different hospitals in Khulna division,” said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). 

The total number of case rose to 1,584, while 13 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year. 

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214, while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
