Two-day National Tech Festival 'Inventious 4.1' 2025 begins at MIST

DHAKA, Mar 07, 2025 (BSS) - A Two-day National Tech Festival "Inventious 4.1" 2025 began today at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in the capital.

The MIST Innovation Club (MIC), under the supervision of the Research & Development Wing, organized this two-day festival with the aims to accelerate progress in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), highlighting innovation and technological advancements, and foster creativity and leadership quality among the students.

A release of the Directorate of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the participants of 37 universities across Bangladesh are taking part in the festival, reflecting the younger generation's growing enthusiasm and commitment to technology and innovation. 

 The two day event will feature four key competitions: Hackathon, Lead the Future, UI/UX Design Competition, and Project Showcasing, it said.

On the opening day, the Hackathon witnessed an intense battle of innovation, with 172 participants from 24 universities competing to solve real-world technological challenges through their expertise and creativity. 

Besides, the second day of the festival will feature the remaining three competitions, where 153 participants from 18 universities will take part in Lead the Future, 18 participants from seven universities will showcase their design skills in the UI/UX Design Competition, and 108 participants from 14 universities will present their projects in the Project Showcasing segment.

With a mission to inspire young innovators, "Inventious 4.1" 2025 is set to be a groundbreaking platform for showcasing cutting-edge ideas and pioneering technological solutions while the tech festival is expected to unlock new possibilities for future engineers and technologists, shaping the next generation of leaders in science and technology, the ISPR added.
