Met office forecasts dry weather over country

DHAKA, March 8, 2025 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted dry weather over the country for the next 24 hours, beginning this morning.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of rain or thundershowers at one or two places over the Rangpur division," said a BMD bulletin issued by Meteorologist A K M Nazmul Hoque.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.

The highest temperature 34.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Rangamati in Chattogram division on Friday while today's minimum temperature 12.6 degree Celsius has been recorded at Srimangal of Sylhet division.

The sun sets at 06:05pm today and rises at 06:14am tomorrow in the capital.
