Opinion sought on draft of 'July Uprising Directorate Ordinance 2025' by March 15

DHAKA, March 8, 2025 (BSS) - The stakeholders have been asked to provide 
their opinions on the draft of "July Uprising Directorate Ordinance 2025" by 
March 15.

A memorandum in this regard today said, the government has decided to 
establish a new directorate dedicated to the July uprising under the Ministry 
of Liberation War Affairs with the aim of preserving its history and memory, 
rehabilitating the families of the martyrs and the injured students and 
public.

The directorate will also work to establish the ideals and spirit of the 
uprising in state and national life. 

All concerned are asked to send their opinions on the draft ordinance to the 
official address of the Secretary, Ministry of Liberation War Affairs or to 
the official email-- [email protected] by March 15, according to the 
memorandum.
