DHAKA, Mar 10, 2025 (BSS) - Twenty four dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.

"During the period, two patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 13 in Chattogram, five in Dhaka division, one in Dhaka South and three were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka North," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 1,648, while 13 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214 while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
