Govt. opens Helpline 16357 to monitor worker unrest

DHAKA, March 11, 2025 (BSS) – The interim government has opened a toll-free hotline phone Helpline 16357 to address workers dissatisfaction and closely monitor labor conditions particularly in RMG sector on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

A Labor and Employment Ministry statement said here today that the service was opened involving Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) to address the emerging issues in factories as well.
