SUNAMGANJ, March 14, 2025 (BSS) – RAB-9 detained a drug peddler along with 10 kilograms of hemp here on Thursday night.

The detainee is Md Kamrul Hasan, 42, son of late Hafiz Uddin, a resident of Kasba Upazila in Brahmanbaria.

On information, a team of the elite force held Kamrul Hasan from Mallikpur area of Sunamganj city around 11:45pm while they recovered 10-kgs of hemp from his possession, said additional police super (media wing) of RAB-9 AKM Shahidul Islam.

Talking to BSS, Shahidul Islam said they handed over Kamrul Hasan to the Sunamganj Sadar Model Police Station for further legal action.
