DMP files 2,485 cases for traffic violations

DHAKA, March 15, 2025 (BSS) - The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan
Police (DMP) has filed 2,485 cases across the capital for violating traffic
rules during the last 24 hours.

The DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases and realized money during
Thursday and Friday through their regular drives against the traffic rule
breakers, said a press release here today.

Some 316 motor vehicles were dumped and 124 vehicles were wrecked during the
campaign, it said.

These drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline
on the city streets, the release added.
