Prof Saleh Ahammad made new JUJA adviser

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Mar 17, 2025 (BSS) - Professor Dr. Saleh Ahammad Khan of Botany department has been nominated as the adviser of Jahangirnagar University Journalists' Association (JUJA) for next one-year term.

JUJA executive committee took the decision at an emergency meeting last night, said a press release signed by JUJA office and publication secretary Mah Alam.

He is replacing outgoing adviser Professor Dr. Laek Sazzad Andallah of the Mathematics department.

Professor Saleh completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Master of Science (M.Sc) from Botany department Jahangirnagar University. Later, he joined JU Botany department as a Lecturer in 1995.

He obtained his PhD degree from University of Bayreuth, Germany in 2007. He is currently serving as the acting Controller of Examinations of the university.
