JU decides to relocate proposed Fine Arts building, open two new disciplines

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Mar 18, 2025 (BSS) – Jahangirnagar University (JU) authorities has decided to relocate the fine arts faculty building to a new place and open two new disciplines under the proposed faculty.

These decisions were taken in an emergency syndicate meeting held on Monday with Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Kamrul Ahsan in the chair.

“Today the syndicate has decided to relocate the proposed fine arts faculty building to the university’s Prantik gate area,” said Professor Kamrul Ahsan at a media briefing following the syndicate meeting.

“Two more disciplines, including calligraphy and typography and Islamic arts and architecture, will be launched under the proposed faculty,” he added.
