DHAKA, April 11, 2025 (BSS) - Eight dengue patients were admitted to 
different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours till this 
morning.

"During the period, three patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 
two in Chittagong, two in Dhaka North and one in Dhaka South City Corporation 
were admitted to different hospitals in the capital," said a press release 
issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 2,052, while 14 deaths from dengue disease 
were reported this year.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 101,214, while 575 deaths from 
dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
