DHAKA, April 15, 2025 (BSS) – Forty-one dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.

“During the period, 15 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 12 in Chattogram, one in Rangpur, two in Dhaka division, one in Dhaka North and 10 were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka South,” said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of cases rose to 2,148 while 16 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214 while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
