GST 'B' unit entry test held peacefully

DHAKA, May 02, 2025 (BSS) - The 'B' unit admission test under the GST cluster of 19 universities for the 2024-25 academic session was held peacefully across 20 centres nationwide.

The one-hour examination took place from 11am to 12pm.     

"Students took the exam in a disciplined and peaceful atmosphere. No untoward incidents were reported at any examination center across the country during the test," Convener of the GST cluster universities' admission test committee Professor Dr Md. Anwarul Azim Akhand told BSS. 

Professor Anwarul Azim, also Vice-Chancellor of Maulana Bhashani Science and Technology University, extended gratitude to everyone involved in the admission process. 

A total of 72,062 candidates applied for the 'B' unit, and around 90 percent attended the exam. Results are expected to be published within the next 3 to 4 days.

The 'A' unit (science group) admission test is scheduled for May 9, with 142,714 applicants applied to take part in the intake test.
