PUNAK focuses on humanitarian, social responsibility: Farida

DHAKA, May 2, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Police Women's Welfare Association (PUNAK) has attached special priority to humanitarian and social responsibilities to serve the people, Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter said today. 

"Police is working as per their responsibilities, beyond that PUNAK is doing wonderful works and It has many wonderful qualities," she said while speaking as the chief guest at the 'PUNAK Annual Rally and Anand Mela-2025' at the Bangladesh Police Auditorium in the city.

PUNAK organised the event marking the 'Police Week 2025'.

Other special spokesmen are Chief Adviser's Special Envoy on International Affairs Lutfey Siddiqi, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam and former President of PUNAK Central Committee Faizun Nesha Begum were present at the event.

PUNAK President Afroza Helen presided over it.
