4 MoUs inked between NSDA, varsities for student's skill dev

DHAKA, May 3, 2025 (BSS)-National Skill Development Authority (NSDA) and 
Universities-- Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), 
Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), National University 
(NU) and Bangladesh Open University (BOU)have signed separate four memoranda 
of understanding (MoUs) to develop students' skills and strengthen industry-
academia connectivity.

The MoUs were inked at NSDA meeting room in capital's Agargaon area today 
with the aim of enhancing the professional and technical skills of the 
country's students, strengthening industry-academia connectivity and creating 
skilled human resources based on mutual cooperation, a press release said.

NSDA Executive Chairman (Secretary) Nasreen Afroz, BUET Vice Chancellor (VC) 
Professor Dr ABM Badruzzaman, RUET Professor Dr Md Abdul Kader Zilani, NU VC 
Professor ASM Amanullah and BOU VC Dr A B M Obaidul Islam signed the MoUs on 
behalf of their respective institutions, the release added.
