RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, May 3, 2025 (BSS) - A new ad-hoc committee and election commission have been formed for the election of the executive committee of Rajshahi University Alumni Association (RUAA). 

This was announced in a notification signed by the university's Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Saleh Hasan Naqib on Friday (May 2) night.

The newly formed ad-hoc committee has been given the responsibility of convener Professor Dr. Md. Ekramul Hamid of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the responsibility of Chief Election Commissioner has been given to Professor Dr. F. Nazrul Islam of the Department of Physics of the university.

The 4-member ad-hoc committee includes -  Professor Dr. Md. Abdur Rahim Mia of the Department of Law, Professor Dr. Md. Shamiul Islam Sarkar of Physics, Professor Dr. Md. Amirul Islam of the Department of Islamic History and Culture and Professor Dr. Md. Gias Uddin Ahmed. 

The 4-member committee includes Professor of Accounting and Information Systems Department Dr. Dil Ara Hossain, Professor of Law Department Dr. Mohammad Abdul Hannan, Professor of Public Administration Department Dr. Md. Nurul Momen and Additional Secretary (Retd) Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan as election commissioners.
