NETROKONA, May 4, 2025 (BSS) - A crop hospital has been set up in the
district under the supervision of farmers here.

Thousands of farmers of Atpara upazila in the district are receiving services
from such an exceptional initiative which is located at Durgashram
intersection on Netrokona-Madan road under the district.

Local farmers are running the hospital in the name of "Durgashram Baghra Haor
Krishak Samabaya Samity". Four doctors are working in the hospital. They are
expert in different topics like fertilizers and insects.

Only various types of vegetables and trees along with rice affected by
various diseases or insects are being brought to the hospital. Farmers have
taken such initiatives by taking several training sessions from the
Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE).
