DHAKA, May 9, 2025 (BSS) - Law enforcement agencies detained 1,673 more crime suspects in the last 24 hours as part of ongoing nationwide operation to maintain law and order, said a press release of the Police Headquarters.

Of the detainees, 1175 individuals were apprehended in connection with previous cases and outstanding warrants, while 494 others were detained on different criminal charges.

With the latest arrests, a total of 23450 alleged miscreants were arrested in the 17 days since the nationwide drive to capture miscreants started afresh.
