RAB-13 recovers 4 cocktail-like explosives in Gaibandha

RANGPUR, Dec 17, 2025 (BSS) - The bomb disposal team of RAB-13 recovered four 
red cocktail-like explosives thrown by miscreants for attempted sabotage 
purposes from the Grameen Bank office premises in Gobindaganj upazila of 
Gaibandha on Tuesday night.
 
"Four miscreants wearing helmets riding two motorcycles from the over-bridge 
point in front of Grameen Bank in Komarpur Bazar of Gobindaganj upazila threw 
the explosives at the Grameen Bank office with the intention of sabotage and 
quickly left the place," a press release said tonight. 
 
Receiving information about the incident at 8:40 pm, the bomb disposal team 
of RAB-13 rushed to the spot from Rangpur and recovered the explosives from 
the spot in the presence of the Crime Prevention Company-3 of RAB-13's 
Gaibandha camp.
 
"Later, the explosives were handed over to Gobindaganj Police Station of 
Gaibandha for safe storage and taking further legal action," the release 
added.
