DHAKA, May 10, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia today joined a family function at her younger brother Shamim Iskandar's residence.

She left for her brother's house from her Gulshan residence Feroza at 9:20 pm, BNP media cell member Shyrul Kabir Khan said.

"Madam Khaleda Zia wore a dark blue saree to attend the function. After she left her residence Feroza, leaders and activists chanted slogans praising her on both sides of the car," he said

 Khaleda Zia returned home from London on May 6 after undergoing treatment there.

The former prime minister went to her younger brother's house to attend the family function as she was  feeling better, said Khan.
