Minor boy dies in Noakhali road accident

     NOAKHALI, May 24, 2025 (BSS) - A one-and-half-year-old boy was killed as a truck ran over him at Senbagh Bazar under Senbagh upazila of the district this afternoon.

     The deceased was M Mujakkir, son of Md. Akram of Fakir Bari-Dulalpur village in Narsingdi district.

    The accident occurred in front of Senbagh Government Pilot High School when a truck ran over the boy.

     The boy was walking on the road holding his mother’s hand and suddenly he left the hand and ran away and at that time the truck ran over the boy.

     He died on the spot, said Mizanur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Senbagh Police Station.

     Police seized the truck and arrested its driver, he said.
