Two diagnostic centers fined in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, May 25, 2025 (BSS) - A mobile court during a drive fined two diagnostic centers a total of Taka 40,000 due to lack of proper documentation and various irregularities in the Sadar Hospital Road area of the district today.

Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Mohammad Ullah led the operation with support from the District Health Department and a team of police from Habiganj Sadar Model Police station.

‘Modern Diagnostic Center’ was fined Tk 20,000 and sealed for operating without any valid paperwork and ‘National Diagnostic Center’ was fined Tk 20,000 for various irregularities, including improper waste management.

Executive Magistrate Mohammad Ullah said, "Our operations against illegal diagnostic centers and clinics will continue to ensure quality healthcare for the general public."
