SATKHIRA, May 25, 2025 (BSS) - A three-day land fair has begun in the
district with the aim of bringing digital land-related services to the common
people.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mostak Ahmed inaugurated the fair today by
releasing balloons in front of the District Commissioner's office.

This year the theme of the fair is "Pay land development tax regularly,
protect your land."

Following the inauguration of the fair, Sadar Upazila Land Officer Atish
Sarkar presented a presentation on land services during a discussion meeting
held in the District Commissioner's hall room.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Bishnupada Pal, Additional Deputy
Commissioner (Revenue) Sheikh Moinul Islam Moin, Sadar Upazila Assistant
Commissioner (Land) Atish Sarkar, District BNP Member Secretary Abu Zaher
Dablu, Joint Convener of District BNP Hasan Al Hadi, Sadar Upazila Jamaat
Ameer Maulana Mosharraf Hossain, among others, were present in the event.
