DMP files 2,093 cases for traffic rules violation

DHAKA, May 26, 2025 (BSS) - The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police(DMP) has filed a total of 2,093 cases against motor vehicles and drivers for violating traffic rules in the capital. 

Besides, a total of 274 motor vehicles were dumped and 179 vehicles were wrecked during the campaign for traffic rules violation during the traffic campaign against traffic rules violators on May 25.

It further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
