SAVAR, May 27, 2025 (BSS) - A man was allegedly stabbed to death by miscreants at Kotbari Mohalla of Savar municipality early this morning.
The deceased was identified as Durjoy Sheikh, 48, son of late Nazimuddin of Goalpara village under Haluaghat upazila in Mymensingh district.
Being informed, police recovered the body this morning and sent it to the hospital morgue.
He was residing with his family in the Kotbari area of ??Savar municipality. Durjoy went out of the house around 1 am and did not return, her wife said.
Savar Model Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Quader Sheikh said the body of the deceased was recovered and sent to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue.
Police are working to arrest those involved in the incident and investigate the cause of the murder, he said.
