Criminals involved in threatening July uprising martyrs to be tried: Minister

DHAKA, June 3, 2025 (BSS) – The Home Ministry in a recent meeting vowed to bring those involved in threatening the family members of the martyrs of July-August uprising using social media to justice.

“Different types of threats including death threat are being made to the family members of the martyrs using the social media platforms...The real culprits involved in such acts will be brought to justice soon after identifying them,” said a Home Ministry statement here today. 

The Home Ministry has reiterated that security of the families of the martyrs and the injured in the July-August movement will be ensured. 

“The cases filed by the martyrs' family members will be investigated quickly,” it added.  

The meeting decided that arrangements will be made to meet the martyrs' family member in every two weeks and inform them about the progress of their cases.
