SAN FRANCISCO, United States, June 13, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Scale AI late Thursday announced a "significant" new investment by Meta that values the "humanity-first AI company" at more than $29 billion.

As part of the deal, Scale AI founder Alexandr Wang will join Meta to work on the tech giant's own artificial intelligence efforts, according to the startup.
